This project transforms an existing campus in Rosebank, Cape Town, into a secure, modern all-girls student residence, designed to provide safe, comfortable, and well-connected housing near the University of Cape Town (UCT). The redesign focuses on efficient space planning, privacy, and contemporary amenities, creating a supportive and secure environment for female students. The layout includes a mix of private and shared student apartments, offering compact yet functional living spaces that maximize comfort and practicality. Dedicated study areas and quiet zones ensure a focused academic environment, allowing students to work without distractions. The design prioritizes safety, accessibility, and modern conveniences, with features such as controlled access, high-speed internet, and on-site facilities tailored to meet students’ daily needs. By converting this campus into a secure, all-girls student residence, the project enhances safety, affordability, and quality of life for female students in Cape Town. The result is a comfortable, modern, and inclusive living space that supports both academic and personal growth.
